WarioWare: Smooth Moves - Wii
9/10
If you've played any kind of WarioWare before be ready for more of the wonderful same. Random Mini-games a plenty and every single one has its own art style. I love the art and randomness to death, its a game that forces you to think and perceive. Also possibly the only place it falls short. Every WarioWare is in the habit of dumping you face first into the games with little to no instruction. Though as I said it forces you to think and do what should be considered the obvious action for the mini-game situations. But if your new or retarded you will fall flat on your face repeatedly. It's a steep learning curve and unfortunately alot of people have too tight an asshole to relax and figure things out. Otherwise WarioWare is a wonderful group and single player game with lots of entertainment and gameplay that lasts, if not for fun then for perfection of all the mini-games.
Metal Slug Anthology - Wii
8/10
Basically one of those get-what-you-paid-for-which-was-on-the-label kind of
The graphics are slightly cleaned up and the levels have been increased in difficulty with tweaks to enemy counts and boss patterns. The reason for this is the fact that you have unlimited continues. ...believe me you'll need it, on average I died 30+ times per level.
My only issue was that it is quite simple, the graphics are fun but not stellar, loading screens...yes for some reason there are loading screens...break up gameplay at times, and some control aspects are annoying....like having to shake the wii-mote to throw a grenade.
Otherwise it's a good buy, but only if you like really simple gameplay or metal slug.
Ok, that's all folks.
Until Next.
